Cocoon: The Road Trip - Zine/Book/Video Tour

The Firebrand will be presenting a travelling zine show on Friday, November 5th, at 7:30pm at the Plowhaus (213 S. 17th in East Nashville). Joe Biel will be showing his documentary on zine culture in the Pacific Northwest entitled "A Hundred Dollars and a T-shirt". Dave Roche will be reading from his zine-turned-book entitled "On Subbing: The First Four Years" about his experiences substituting for special education classes in Portland public schools. Jack Saturn will be reading from his book/zine "We Ain't Got No Car!". $3-5 donations are suggested.

Lucy's Record Shop ACT NOW! Reunion Concert

The Lucy's Record Shop ACT NOW! Reunion concert and Voter Registration Drive is scheduled for Saturday, September 18 at the Belcourt Theater and will include live music in the main theater from approximately 12 noon until 12 midnight; film in the second theater; presentations and performances on an additional stage located in the Belcourt parking lot; and tents/tables (also located in the parking lot) for participating organizations to engage the public. After production costs, all proceeds from this event will benefit the Firebrand Community Center.

This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb Benefit Show at Cafe Coco

On September 7th, This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb, On Command, and Sanctions will play a benefit show for the Firebrand at Cafe Coco. The show will begin at 9pm and admission will be $5 at the door.

Stitch and Bitch Firebrand Fundraiser

On Friday, July 23rd, there will be a stitch and bitch party and accoustic music show in Murfreesboro to benefit the Firebrand. The party is at 710 N. Maple, Apt. A. beginning at 7pm.
